8th Grade Homework:

Make a barometer like the one on p. 521 in your book. For at least two days mark an indicator where the pressure makes the pointer rest. Use a real weather source to find the exact pressure for the moment you look at the pointer, and indicate that pressure on the the two marks. Make a small data table with the date/time, air pressure, and weather conditions. (If you are unable to get a balloon to create a diaphragm, then take four days of weather pressure readings from an internet source, and show 4 days of press. readings in a data table) All you will need to turn in is the data table.
